How to use Interlibrary Loan:

  • Choose the "Connect to ILLiad" button to place an Interlibrary Loan request.
  • Choose "ILL Notices" for current information and announcements about ILL services.
  • If you are not on campus, you can also place requests for items from the Utica University Library collection through ILL. We will get a PDF of the article or chapter to you as quickly as we can.

Guide:
Article Request

Get an article more quickly by:

Checking that it is not available from the Library in the E-Journal Finder and/or the Library Catalog.  This speeds up your request.

Then login to ILLiad with your username and password. First time users must register.

Select Article Request in left menu. Fill out request and Submit.

You will receive email when the article is ready for you, usually in two or three days.

Book Request

Locate the book in the Library Catalog and follow the orange "Request item through Interlibrary Loan" button. 

You'll be prompted to log in to ILLiad with your username and password. First time users must register Be sure to indicate if you are a distance student so that books can be shipped to you.  

OR: 

If you can't find the book in the catalog, log in to ILLiad with your username and password. First time users must register

Select Book Request in left menu. Fill out request and Submit

You will receive email when the book is ready for you to pick up at the library Circulation Desk. Allow at least seven to ten days.
